Mushrooming Dreams….

Dreams are like Mushrooms. They start off with a seed and then they grow into an umbrella where you have a handle which is THE DREAM, which you hold close to your heart …. and then the body of the umbrella which are all the people and the events related to your dream.

One of my very dear friend says “Sapney dekho … lekin unke poora hone ki tamanna mat rakho” (Dream but don’t expect them to come true) … I argue with him every time he says that … I say “Sapnay dekho aur unke poora hone ki tamanna bhi rakho… warna woh kabhi poore nahi honge”… (dream.. and expect that they come true or else they will never come true)….

Many people have many dreams which sometimes come true and sometimes don’t. It depends on how you chase your dream and not on what is your dream. A dream is just a destination and the journey between today and your dream matters…. What matters is YOU… you might feel a zillion times in between that your dream wont come true but then if you have the passion and the zest to chase your dreams than no one can stop you….

I dedicate this one to a dear friend and a colleague (I call him “Mere Laal”) … Both of us have a common favorite song, Dream On by Aerosmith….. I leave you with the beautiful lyrics of that song … I wonder how all these lyricists read our minds .. or everybody has the same mind ????
